Can anyone help me find the nomenclature, or any other information, on an unknown ADF receiver? I copied a partial schematic for it from its original manual in the radio shop of the old Alameda Naval Air Station back in the 1960s, but failed to copy its nomenclature or the manual number. I thought it was an ARN-59, but have since found that the ARN-59 has subminiature tubes. This unknown one has a lineup of very ordinary 7 & 9-pin miniature tubes as follows:

6BA6 loop amplifier
6BA6 RF amplifier
6BE6 converter
Two 6BJ6 IF amplifiers
6BF6 audio and AGC detectors and audio amplifier
12AX7 audio phase splitter
Two 6AK6 push-pull audio amplifiers
Two 6X4 full-wave rectifiers
Probably some others associated with loop control function

It must have been used in Navy aircraft of the 1950s and 60s, but I have been able to find anything online thus far. Help anyone?

Mike, W6MAB
