I live in Doylestown & am planning a visit to the Reading-Wyomissing area later this summer. I found the website for the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading (http://www.maam.org/) & noticed that they are restoring a P-61 Black Widow. I've offered them the following P-61-related items from my collection:
Pilot & radar operators indicators BC-1152/1151 - super-secret in 1942, I've never even seen pix of the radar operator's unit. Both are nearly NOS.
Pdf of SCR-720 radar manual.
Parts of SCR-729: pair of directional antennas, BC-929-A Rebecca MkIIA indicator, & control C-3/APN-2 NOS. All NOS.
I'm hoping to get a tour of the P-61 restoration project & some of the goodies they give to cash donors as all this is easily worth $1,000.
Anyone have any experience with this museum?
Thanks!
Jack
