It’s a one way thing. Obviously.

As I said in a previous post, I have that ER article, in fact, I have them all. Once I discovered ER, I bought all back issues from Barry back around 1998. I read the Hutches article that year but by that time Walt had dropped out of the hobby as I read from old posts to boatanchors on the porch. So seven years after Walt wrote the article, I figured my chances of finding his notes were next to nil.

A few days ago you posted that you had his notes. I wrote to you directly and then again a day later through the Milsurplus list. I didn't hear a word from you either time. Then Ken expressed interest and now you blew him off too.

So am I wrong or is this list a means of helping another fellow out or is it just a one way thing?

Jim

Can you somehow get me more hours to replace hours spent doing favors? Then i’ll be happy to take on more.

Until then, i have to try to streamline. In this case, my time was advantageously spent, i think, by passing the buck, and hopefully, expanding the availability

of the document over time. I didn’t check the Radionerds update indicator, but i do have an email from Feb. 2016 indicating he is interested in some manuals

i was thinking of donating, to be scanned onto the site. So i had to assume the site was still breathing and hopefully, growing. Those manuals, along with the Navy

‘ELECTRON’ magazines, and a pile for americanradiohistory.com are still in the que waiting, as are a bunch of equipment, manuals, books, and magazines to be sold.

As you can see, i have somewhat of a backlog i’m gradually chipping away at, in fact for the next few years.

The E.R. article in question, i don’t have all my E.R.’s in one place, and i don’t have the particular one with the article here, so i couldn’t compare it to the doc i had.

I hoped the mailed-out article was more comprehensive, which is way i wanted it to be online, if possible. I don’t have a scanner at present and doing such is the

absolute last of my priorities.

But really, you had no luck getting the E.R. article since 1998 ?????? This is not one of the lost scrolls from Qumran.

I’ll look up the copy number and when in June i go to fetch more things to dispose of, i’ll see if i can find that particular E.R. copy.

Not to put too fine a point on this but what you have done is just pass the buck. As far as I have seen, only two members of this fine list have shown any interest in Walt's SRR-13 / FRR-23 document.

To make things a bit more interesting, the RadioNerds site hasn't been updated since August 2013! So now all one has to do is monitor RadioNerds for the next three or so years to see if your copy of Walt's document is finally uploaded.

I've been looking for a copy since 1998 so what is a few more years?

Thanks a bunch,

Jim
