Forwarded from messages on AWA list. 16-inch transcriptions thru war years
were saved by KIRO radio 710, Seattle.
At this date, only thru Jan. 1941 are available online. The quality of the
recordings is very good. The shortwave relays
from Europe do have mild selective fade effects.
Interesting to get the feeling of the times, when the Germany-Italy-Japan
Axis was a looming massive malignant threat.
Will be extremely interesting once the later war recordings go online, say
about Iwo Jima or VE day, or the A-bombing.
