[Milsurplus] RT-5022R/T(E) problem

My RT-5022R/T(E) has developed a warble in receive audio (and I suspect 
in transmit as well.

You can here the warble in voices but particularly in a received tone 
(plainly seen on the FLdigi
waterfall where the display of a single is noticeably wide and variable).

Any advise as to where I should begin troubleshooting will be gratefully 
appreciated!
