[Milsurplus] Tube disinterred

I was looking at a RL2P3 tube that had been dug up after being in ground
since 1943.
I had to wirebrush the contacts, but when i ohmed the filament, i saw about
6 ohm.

The tube is spec'd at 2 volts 285 mA, so the resistance would seem to be in
the ballpark.

However, filamentary type things are said to have much lower cold
resistance, so if the

filament is really still there, shouldn't i be seeing a much lower
resistance?
My tube tester for such types is packed away. If i can find a socket for the
tube, i might

try to connect it to my TV-10 and see if it really did survive.
