[Milsurplus] "Oldtimer bitching"? ARC5 list

The “ARC-5” list group didn’t appeal to me as i thought the focus too narrow for me.
If it had been in fact, called something like “Aircraft Radio” i would have investigated much earlier.

( My interests seem to run to Japanese aircraft radio, these days. )

( And the RCAF ATR-11 for which the manual seems to be solid unobtanium. )

( At a January 2016 swapmeet in Portland i gave Dan Howard, an insulator enthusiast ( yes, there

are collectors for everything ) some examples of aircraft radio insulators. )
( One of the most unusual insulators in his collection is one i gave him, taken from a sunken

Japanese ship – this collected before the inception of laws forbidding taking of souvenirs from ships at Truk.

Yes, i digress....

BTW, a long shot, anyone know who the fellow was at Puyallup WA hamfest in March 2016,

with the “small version” of the RUGF A.C. power supply ? The version that dispensed with control boxes,

having all control box functions right on the unit?
