Don't think so, even though both the RAK and RAL receivers were 1935 designs and RCA Review was first published in July, 1936. RCA Review published papers on applied research by RCA researchers for RCA's core interests. I don't remember any articles off hand, that reported in detail on government contract work.
What you are looking for are contract reports which are pretty hard to find. These would detail the work performed during the reporting period. There are other RCA "house publications" which might contain tidbits: Radio Age, Electronic Age, RCA Broadcast News, RCA Engineer and other RCA house publications, all of which can be found at americanradiohistory.com. But I think all of these were first published well after 1935.
You might try the RCA Equipment reflector at http://www.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/rca or the Hagley Museum and Library which has holding from RCA Labs and perhaps from RCA Camden where, I assume, the RAK and RAL were designed and built.Jim

All,
Has there ever been a written history done on the RAK and RAL and/or the RBA-B-C in QST or ER or AWA Journal etc?
If so I’d love to read.
