Thinning out manuals today, getting a box of donations ready. 

I happened to take a pass thru "Communication Data Infantry and Airborne
Battle Groups, Fort Benning GA  Jan. 1961"

i see that you can use a 3.5 inch Rocket Launcher to lay wire. ( Otherwise
known as "Bazooka". )  Looks like you have

to prepare a loop which is placed at the business end of the bazooka, this
apparently snares the rocket. Stay clear of

the wire!  Photo says refer to TM 11-2240 before applying field expedient
methods. Big fun. You can also use a rifle

grenade dummy, which looks a little more practical.
