The estate of a SK former MARS member was donated to the local repeater
club who had no idea what much of it was, and I'll admit I've had to do
some head-scratching myself after offering to help them find new homes
for it.

Here's a list of some of the oddball items that the club would be open
to offers on. Where no dollar amount is specified, please email me
DIRECT with your offer, to which actual shipping cost will be added.
Most of this stuff is so weird I have no idea of price:

TV 6/U (Bendix, perfect condition, seems to for testing a small number
of oddball tubes. Batteries fit inside (12xD cell)

TS 92AP (ID'ed as "amplifier alignment unit" for radar)

BC-906-D Frequency meter (very nice, VHF range, complete w/ whip
antenna) $30 OBO

AM-1415/UNS-1 audio amplifier (10 watt audio amplifier only, made by
Harvey Wells, evidently for air-raid spotting use) $50 OBO

HP-120B o'scope

BC-221B frequency meter with a homebrew AC p/s in the bottom
compartment $50 OBO

WE I-193-A test set (US Army Signal Corps, test set for testing polar
TTY relays, in wood foot-locker type cabinet)

A dozen or so Western Electric polar relays (type 255-A I think, at
least they have the same square base and 8-pin plug)

A homebrew TTY power supply that includes one of these polar relays

RA-87A rectifier unit (a TTY thing)

CV-57/URR (2 ea) plus (1 ea) CM-14/URR - Nick's page says the
AN/URA-7 diversity system comprises two CV-71/URR plus one CM-14/URR
Comparator, so this should be the full diversity RTTY demod setup for a
455 kc IF. Looks impressive.

About 25 Teletype Corporation manuals covering model 14, 15, and related
equipment from the 30's and '40s. All are in excellent condition with
Teletype covers, a some have pencil markings and notes, as they were
obviously used. $75 OBO

and the coolest thing of all:
LS-103B trumpet-type loudspeaker with tripod for TIQ2 PA system

Again, the club wants to move these items and realizes shipping is not
feasible for all items. All of the TTY-related stuff may be going as a
lot to someone local who is willing to come pick it up. The gear is
located in northwest Illinois about 2 hours from Chicago so pick-up is a
possibility or arrangements could be made to haul things to area
hamfests. All funds go to the club, I'm just helping list them and
with the packing and shipping so no guarantees of any kind or returns
can be offered and obviously there is no assurance of completeness,
parts/cables/accessories may be missing, etc.

Please email me directly with any questions or offers - thanks and 73,

Bob W9RAN
