 All-
I happened upon an AD on craigslist in my area.  A business was cleaning
out "junk" left in a building by the previous owner.
The new owners of the building had 2 R390A/URR for sale.  I don't need
another anchor, but, I had to go see.  The poor beast's were covered in
sawdust.  So a few bucks out of my hand into theirs, I bought one unit.
It has an official US GOV stamp on the 19" metal rack casing that
encases the radio.  All the covers seem to be there.  The previous owner
was KB4HS, Rick Cumpston of Cedar Park, TX.  ; hope I got the correct
spelling and call sign.  Any way it needs more work than I care to take
on.  I am torn between selling it and keeping it and having it restored.
Any Ideas on who could restore the unit please reply off list
on who does restoration work.
Any offers will be considered;  I have $105 in the unit as of
today.
I have not lifted 90# in quite some time gee-zs.  Should I plug it in
and see if it works?-} Nah!
Later
Hutch
