SHIPS 242A would seem to be wrong. Someone got the idea that maybe it
would be like a ship's emergency radio, but clearly there were never
enough around for that use. I never saw any evidence of Lend-Lease at
all. The Brits bought theirs as the 18M Collins product.
BTW, who can tell me exactly what the wording on the TCH nameplate, on
top the set, said?
