Was just looking at a " IMPACT " magazine of the USAAF for 5/ 1944,
rated "CONFIDENTIAL".
This has to be the most interesting magazine of WW2, i think. The
stories and photography are
great. One incident reported in this copy's article on 'friendly fire'
losses tells about a U.S. PT boat
destroyed by a B-25; then a Navy fighter shot down the B-25. This kind
of thing happened almost
every day.
IMPACT was published in the last decade, i think, in several hardcover
volumes.
