Not to mention preclude any future possibility of paint touch up due to the
silicone involved. Nasty stuff all around, doesn't even stay shiny all that
long.

Used sparingly so as not to attract dust, WD-40 or linseed oil work well
for black wrinkle. I've always wondered if they actually 'feed' the paint
to some extent, replacing long-evaporate ingredients.
