Good work, Roy, finding this. The cover is exactly like the whitish
colored cover in the second photo in the second row down.
Except there are no wood parts; there is a metal baseplate larger than
the key; and the color is a grey.
Many years ago i bought some things from the estate of a man who had
been with the U.S. military in Germany ca. 1946-47
and this key was in the bunch. Also a carbon 'throat mic' marked
Ericsson. I kind of wondered if these were the result of WW2
trade between Germany and Sweden. I need to read up on that more. I
think Sweden traded iron ore to Germany in WW2
and stayed as a 'neutral'. Perhaps this saved them from invasion and
occupation.
I have one of the German 'People's Radios' model DKE38, which was made
for export; instead of a swastika it has the
Telefunken logo and additional Swedish instructions on back.

I suggested that because of the somewhat well known “Swedish Key” made
by Lennart Pettersson company:
See this website:

Where he mentions that the metal cover indicates the key shown was made
for the military and shows a picture of the cover.
