[Milsurplus] FSM

  If anyone here is going to the Rickreall OR hamfest in Feb., i can have 
a Sierra 303 FSM there for maybe
$20. This is a digital freq readout, and tunes up to 3 MHz, i think. Has 
battery inside for portable use but
batt is dead. I recall how when i lived in the Seattle area the meter 
needle jumped as i tuned across NLK's
frequency - NLK, Jim Creek near Oso, WA - in same area where that 
landslide a year or two back wiped
out a number of houses.
I have stored up in Seattle several Sierra 128 FSMs for about the same 
price. These are pretty large instruments.
I recall that i was able to listen to ham SSB traffic on it. If your 
antenna is matched, you can give them a true
microvolts received reading!
