LORAN, GCA, YE/YG systems, all good ideas. Maybe all under a “Navigation and Location” chapter. I suppose then you’d have to at least mention German systems

Knickbein usw.

IFF, i forgot.

TV bombs -yes – important too because the standards – freq ranges, vert and horiz scan rates were very close to commercial standards – plus the ‘remote

viewing’ aspect

Infrared – i’ll have to read up on that. All the little i know is from seeing an article in “Electron” where the keying speed was mentioned. Haven’t read

anything. I’ll have to look at the Fritz Trenkle books and see if Germany had something. I think there was something to do with tank infrared gun

sighting but i’ll have to take another look.

Nuclear bomb wiring – offhand i don’t see the point.

Enigma – yes Colossus – yes

Interesting idea, such a book. I don’t have the smarts or knowledge or time to carry it out, probably. Thought struck me that it should be in ‘comic book’ format,

a mix of drawings and photos of actual gear. Plus, the youngest generation supposedly goes for ‘graphic novels’; this might be to their taste.

Thanks for the ideas-

Hue

>dI'd buy a copy. Let me add a few more topics for inclusion: television a la Aphrodite; SCR-270 and Opana Point; Enigma; piezoelectric crystals; radio network for Overlord.
