I'd buy a copy. Let me add a few more topics for inclusion: television a la Aphrodite; SCR-270 and Opana Point; Enigma; piezoelectric crystals; radio network for Overlord.

While i’m stirring up some activity here on the groups, let me run this by you.
Imagine a book –“Amazing Electronics of WWII !”. What would be the entries – about a dozen, no more. I’m thinking with a photo, description, block diagram,
and some “Also Ran” competitor photos ? I’m thinking many entries would NOT be radio.
( Not that i’m writing this. )
I’m thinking:
Gun-laying radar ( SCR-268, SCR-570 )
Portable radar ( TPS-1 )
Proximity Fuze
Mine detector
FM Sonar
Handie-Talkie
Collins Autotune
FM mobile radio
VHF aircraft radio
Sonobuoy
Teletype
VLF super power
( some example of ) miniature spy radio or clandestine receiver
some kind of night vision? ( i don’t know to what extent this existed. )
What think?
