True. If your signal at the received end is strong enough the other
operator should be able to hear the slight "FMing" of the Master Osc
on the "make" (key down) This is caused by the big relay "banging"
the cabinet, which is mechanically conducted to the MO coil.
(You can imagine the effect if the rig construction was not as
rugged as it is)
You have to listen closely to hear it, or you may think it is
some sort of "click."
But, to alleviate this condition would not be a stock
representation of a TCS.... (no mods, right?)
Wearing "cans" solves the noise problem, at least
for the operator...maybe not for the rest of the family. :-)
