Hello all:
I have owned a Bendix ATD with dynamotor since 1966. It has been fired up exactly 1 time. When I was 16 I built a solid state 28VDC power supply to power the rig & dynamotor according to the specs on the dynamotor. It lit the tubes and started the dynamotor for about 30 seconds until the silicon rectifiers self destructed due in part to the large in-rush current. Years later measured this as 44 amps, without the rig attached !

Fast forward 45 years... Here I sit with the NOS ATD / Dynamotor combo. I now have a battery bank rated @ 24VDC / 600AH. This should run the rig  with no sweat. I have connectors as supplied by W5CAB. All I'm lacking is a multi-conductor cable to drop from the rig in the shack to the Dynamotor & battery bank located in the basement below the shack. A run of about 10 feet. The dynamotor will sit about 18 inches above the battery rack, to keep the DC input cable as short as possible.
The cable I'm looking for would need 8 conductors... with one capable of carrying 1KV. The original cable was rubber jacketed like SJ type electrical cable.
Any leads or suggestions appreciated.

PS:I have been selling on Ebay since 1997. Honestly, I don't see what the ranting is about. If you are a seller, your buyer pays the fees as reflected in your price. If you are a buyer, you pay the fees as part of the purchase price. Goods for sale must be priced accordingly. Plain & simple.
