AH YES! The dual, directly heated, gas filled commode diode that passes 
all input to ground, and must be operated with a septic tank coil in 
each plate lead):  Humor aside, the Navy is also reviving training in 
celestial navigation.  There are efforts by a variety of agencies and 
services to put LORAN back on the air. It would have enhanced features, 
but supposedly be backwards compatable with LORAN C receivers.  
Depending too much on GPS and satellite communications is not wise.
