[Milsurplus] B-17 "Second Operator"

Did you know? The early B-17 had TWO radio operators, a First Operator 
and a Second Operator.
Popular Science for Jan. 1942 has some B-17 photos. One shot shows the 
second op handing the
first op a BC-375 tuning unit. A task critical to the mission.
Also seen, the distinctive BC-224-A.
I think Google has scanned all these mags and they can be seen online, 
tho not quite as convenient as paper.
But the pixels are so light to move around and never get musty.
