[Milsurplus] Torn.E.b. in pot-metal production ?

FWIW, my 1944 unit weighs in at 41# with cover. My understanding is
that the early units used a molding compound with a high magnesium
content, and that the alloy changed as thing got tougher. It would be
interesting to know the lightest Torn EB observed.
