SIG 5-1, Index By Type Numbers, is a cross reference between Signal Corps
and AN nomenclature and the Signal Corps Stock Numbers. However, you also
have to have the correct SIG 5 volume to look up the description. The
December, 1945 complete SIG 5 (not counting SIG 5-1 and the others) is 14 inches
wide. The revisions up through about 1955 take up about another 30 inches
plus those that I don't have.
I do not know of any photographic directories for parts. The Signal Corps
Drawings would suffice, but I've only ever seen a handfull of them. And
most of those because they appeared in a few TM 11's.
