It would be so interesting to hear what CW from various mobile stations WW2 sounded like.
I mean, what i’m sure were less than T9 signals. 

There were even at least three Japanese transmitters that when VFO mode was selected, were

self-exited single tube transmitters.


I recall even late in the maritime morse era, i mean the 1970s- early 1980s, there were some 

outrageous sounding signals, even from shore stations – hard keying, buzz, all that.
