[Milsurplus] [RCA] SRR-13 Article

I used both the SRR-13 and the R-808 for a period several years ago. Remember having to do a lot of work in the -13 to repair some damage in the RF coils.  Also got the thing working quite well on SSB with some tweaking of the second detector and AGC circuits.
Also ran an R-808 for a few years.  Again, worked OK but nothing special. Big and heavy…..  The R-392 is definitely a superior receiver.  Never understood why the Marine Corps didn’t  go with the GRC-19 but guess they just gotta do their own thing…..
