[Milsurplus] German Radar in post-WW2 use

VIETNAM magazine for June 2016 says that to the end of 1963, North Vietnam
had 22 search radars and one Wurtzburg fire-direction radar
controlling 16 batteries of WW2 German 88mm AA guns, all supplied by the
USSR. I would have thought all that gear had been junked, but
this implies that the USSR added those guns and radars to its own inventory
after taking them with the close of WW2.
