Ok, so my latest forum of insanity has been the attempt to get a primitive Roam/Loral 1602 computer up and running. They are a militarized version of the old Data General Nova system. I have the computer, control panel, paper tape system and lots of other odds and ends like extender cards and card pullers but the thing I am most short of and in dire need of is connectors. The 1602, 1666 and all the associated I/O chassis and other hardware like the disk drives and tape readers use a standard I/O Data cable, this cable uses a Deutsch or Amphenol fifty five pin connector (M81511) on each end and are wired pin to pin. It's the same I/O cable for everything in that family of products and somehow would think that there has to be several of these fat cables lying around that people have no idea what they are or what can be done with them. These are new style military connectors that have plenty of dam near microscopic pins and long shelled metal sleeves. Know it's a long shot and may end up replacing the connectors with something that's more user friendly but thought I would ask here first.
