Some fox paws in my last sentence.  The coils being sold in the original posting will NOT work properly in the 1938/1939 RU-8, RU-9, and RU-15 receivers, type CBY-46064.  It  (and the RU-2A as well) uses a main tuning capacitor gang that provides a nominal 2:1 high-end to low-end frequency ratio for each coil (just like SCR-A*-183/283 receivers).  All other RU-* receivers utilize a nominal 1.5:1 ratio.

I just thought I should point that out so all those CBY-46064 owners out there won't be led in the wrong direction on my account! :-)
