As usual, this same piece of stock film footage is used yet again in this
film as it is in just about every movie you'll ever see (except Tora,Tora
Tora) on the Pearl Harbor attack and other battles in the Pacific war. It
occurs at about 3 minutes, 33 seconds into the film and supposedly shows
Japanese dive bombers pealing off for their bomb run. Those are actually
U.S, Navy Douglas SBD dive bombers. In the color films in which these
appear, they have Japanese roundels painted on the wings. Nobody cares as
most people can't tell one plane from another. Mike, W6MAB
