The item I received was sort of a perfect storm of packing technique. It
had
Styrofoam boards, cut to size, taped to the unit.
This was a snug fit into the cardboard box. I expected actually more fun
chasing static'd-up tiny bits of Styrofoam, but it must have
been a higher humidity day, plus my patience in extracting the unit, so it
wasn't as bad as some in the past. If you find a hard
styrofoam board, and don't cut it, they don't shed, but of course they
only
make a kind of filler, with practically no shock absorption.
( BTW, spellcheck only likes the word "styrofoam" with a capital-S. )
Also BTW, someone here mentioned 'Instructograph'. I have a one-page
flyer
on the Instructograph; this was from a 'Radio Master'
type catalog book at some parts distributor. I will mail it free to the
Instructograph owner - need qth.
