LAW is small arms lubricant for arctic weather temperatures of -70 F to O F.  Its lubricating properties are gone by 100 F.  It would be used where necessary  instead of the normal small arms libricant LSA, which is OK to -25 F, IIRC.

Break Free - CLP can replace both LSA and LAW.

I have used all vintages of BREAK FREE - CLP for more than 30 years on weapons and 20 years on crackle/wrinkle paint finish restoration with complete satisfaction.
