Yes Hue it is amazing...I experienced a day of future shock today. I get
trade journals etc... but it is somehow different when it is there in
physical form you can touch.. next year IMS show will be in San Francisco if
that is closer to where you are. every year a different location. Did you
work on any of the TD-2 bell gear? We have a fascination with that system
here. Let us know what you might have surplus. Yea... we can use some
twt tubes too for display.
I just get excited about all phases of this stuff!

Ed, I wish I were closer to where you are, so I could attend a
presentation
by you summarizing the exhibition.
I am so impressed by the new compact plug-n-play microwave systems.
I have years passed, worked on old Bell system multiple-bay heavy-metal
microwave systems, as a board
changer only, and I recall those old systems as monsters.
I still have a couple boxes of subassemblies from scrapped out units I
kept
rather than toss into the scrap
metal tub. Probably those will be useless enough that they'll be the next
thing I toss, except for some
TWT tubes, which I recognized as probable collectibles.

IMS 2015 microwave trade show free day in phx tomorrow 640 vendors
no cost but you do have to register at the door. Spent a busy day
doing some press coverage there today. What a thrill! Ed Sharpe ( with
journalist hat on)
