[Milsurplus] Western Radio Amateur

It seems there's not a lot of information available on these two radio 
magazines:
Western Radio Amateur   ( I have Vol. 6 No. 8,  Dec 31 1959 ) I see some 
familiar names
on the contributor list:  Ed Marriner; Don Stoner; Howard Pyle )

Amateur Radio Defense  ( in immediate pre-WW2 months, I think )

I did a brief google search - practically no info, and not listed on a Wiki 
list of radio
magazines.
I did see one search result saying a fellow had found a Gonset MSB-1 SSB 
xcvr for
$5 at a hamfest.

Perhaps this will become another longterm project of mine, to dig up some 
more
history on these magazines.
