[Milsurplus] Identify this aircraft freq meter?

What is the BC-number of this het freq meter predecessor to the BC-221 ?
It appears in a photo in Tele-Tech magazine for Feb 1949, p 22, showing it
in an aircraft identified as a Curtis A-12. Other equipment recognizable in
the photo are a BC-191, a BC-229, and looks like control boxes for the 
the SCR-183/283.
