That is http://radionerds.com and it was created and is maintained by Chris Story/K6RWJ in Homewood, AL (near Birmingham). It is, as you say, quite a resource. He has incurred the wrath and threats of a certain UK WS19 group infamous for controlling access to info also found on radionerds, even though the radionerds files do not have the degradations purpose-built into the files found on that UK controlled-access archive.
I see Chris several times each year at the large displays of military gear that he brings to hamfests, gun shows, and military vehicle collector shows. He is heavy into military vehicles. In spite of the 6-land call, he does not live in the Socialist People's Republik of Kalifornia. :-)
