[Milsurplus] TELETYPE CORP. power supply ?

I removed an abandoned TELETYPE CORP. printer desk from a work office
and removed a power supply from it before I sent it to metal scrap. The
power supply is ' 40PSU101 '. I know this is a real longshot, but I'd
appreciate any leads on getting a schematic. From papers that came
with it, for various datacom and printer interface cards, I gather the
build date was around 1977. It looks to me like an analog, not
switching supply; the power transformer is pretty hefty and I don't
see any complex switching parts including HV lytics. The outputs
are +-12. Altho it hadn't seen power in 20+ years, I went ahead and
plugged it in - nothing to lose. The + and - 12 DC were good, but
after a few minutes the transformer started to complain. I shut it
off and felt the heat sink around one transformer, quite hot. I think I'll
have a look and see if anything looks toasted. I found references to
it on the net but all just places to request quote or cross reference
numbers. It looks like if working it could drive various mil-surplus
24DC driven radios, but if it looks too difficult to figure out, it
will go to the cauldron also.
