I'm in contact with a retired ham who has a shed filled withthis gear including complete cable/antenna systems. Since much of this stuffwas adopted by the military (AN/URM-XX) I'm posting this info here. Here is theStoddart URL: http://online.sfsu.edu/hl/src.htmlMuch of this gear was used for detecting emissions fromradio gear that weren’t supposed to be emitting. These came in handy during theCold War. Present day ham use could extend from VLF to microwave.“I have a couple of tons (yes, tons) of it, and all of it isin "good" but certainly not "perfect" condition. There areonly a few complete systems. Many accessories are missing, but I can make acouple of complete systems for most of what I have.“I have several each of the AN/URM-6 series (which coverfrom 14 KHz through 250 KHz), with power supplies, loop antennas (three sizes),cables, manuals, etc. The boxes that the large loops (36" diameter, stainless steel) are in are also tables. I also have at least 6 of the largewooden tripods that either the receiver or the loops mount to.“The Stoddart receivers I have cover from 30 Hz through10000 MHz.“I have only one NM-40 that covers 30 Hz to 15 KHz.“I think the NM-20B makes an excellent emergency receiverwhich covers all the LF, MF and HF (150 kHz-25 MHz) bands of particular interest during anemergency. It can be operated either from its own AC supply, or frombatteries, and since it uses tubes, it is pretty much impervious to EMP, and thetubes are extremely common on eBay and other places and don't cost much if Ineed any.“I have at least two of the NM-30, which covers from 20 MHzthrough 400 MHz. “I have at least two of the NM-50, which cover from 375 MHzthrough 1000 MHz. (1GHz)“And I believe I have one NM-60 which covers from 1GHzthrough 10GHz.“I also have a bunch of the separate power supplies for eachof these, cables, and manuals and other accessories.“As I said, I'll try to get photos and an accurate inventoryof what I have to you as soon as I can."These units are built like Collins equipment.I'm not listing these on eBay but I would be glad to put interested parties into direct contact with this fellow.Jack
