[Milsurplus] Old Signal Corps radio

It's part of SCR-178 (I've got one) and -179, probably a 1942 order number but profoundly obsolete by then with its early 1930s design. Used with modulator BC-188-A and regenerative receiver BC-186.

The BC-187-A is a MOPA using a type 10/VT-25 and a type 865/VT-55, both expensive and hard to find. The auction does not indicate if the tubes are present...most likely they are not!

J. H. Bunnell is famous as maker of railroad wire telegraphy gear.
