In the 80's-early 90's, I used a very soft nylon brush, such as a fingermail
cleaning brush and Windex and scrubbed GENTLY in a rotatnig pattern to get
dust, grease, cigar/cigarette smoke residue, et cetera out of wrinkle paint.
Windex wasn't harsh and left no residue and the paint came out exceptionally
clean. If the grime would get brown or foam too much, I'd wipe it off with
a clean damp terry cloth hand towel.
