The main advantage of the BC-348-J, N or Q was that they were cheaper. No
antenna trimmer for starters.
The original manual number for the JNQ was AN 08-10-112 dated 02/25/1942.
It did not include the schematic and wiring diagram of the BC-348-Q. That
went through two revisions and then became AN 16-10-112. T.O. 08-10-145,
dated 02/25/1943 was printed between the first and second revision for some
reason. 16-10-112 was revised 07/30/1945 and the Q schematic finally added.
The pub numbers were changed several times after that but no useful
additions and some unuseful deletions.
