And...much much worse...AF output transformer failure! The B- connection reminder is a very good and important one.

It is important to find a manual specific to the model.  There's a fair amount of difference in the three major groups of receiver variants.

For printed copies, Robert Downs/WA5CAB produces manuals that are better than originals in quality, and grossly better than any download.
