"Danger UXB" was made in 1978 for air in the UK in early 1979.  I watched a few episodes of that first run at the US ballistic missile submarine site at Holy Loch Scotland.

Its 13 episodes are reasonably well done with a young Anthony Andrews as the main character but it suffers from the attempt to make it a "chick flick" in several episodes.

The whole series is readily available at low cost in DVD.
