Guys,
Dick Foster, W5TA of Round Rock, TX (near Austin) has graciously agreed to
donate a TCS-5 RX, TCS-8 TX, RBB & RBC receiver to the USS Wisconsin
(BB-64) ship museum in Norfolk, VA. The challenge is how to get these good
ole boatanchors transported from Dick's QTH to the ship in Norfolk. The
shipping is just too expensive because of the obvious weight involved. One
idea is to try to locate a trucker that runs from the Austin area to the
East Coast and would be willing to help us. If anyone can provide
information it would be appreciated. This equipment will be used with the
ship's WWII operating position.
Thanks in advance..
