Not trying to speak for Ralph here, but from my perspective Hue, abuse
would be sitting at the computer for hours on end and sending a photo of
every radio, part, trinket etc you have because you have no life beyond the
internet. Or more simply put, excessive posting of any kind, really.

Photos are great in a forum setting because you have a common collection
point that you can easily refer back to any time you log on. In a mail
reflector setting it can quickly become very similar to spamming the users
by sending endless posts. We see this from time to time with flippers who
spam across multiple lists in an attempt to make a buck, even though the
item has little or nothing to do with a particular group.

Posting shots of mystery items you need help identifying, items for sale, a
new acquisition, or items germane to an ongoing conversation make perfect
sense. If you have photos of a collection you'd like to share, the more
sensible approach would be to set up a web page like Mike Hanz has or use
any of the online photo hosting sites and then post a link to that site.

Photos are a great way of sharing information beyond the eye candy
perspective and again, this is just my opinion. Opening your email account
to find pages of posts from one sender gets old very fast, regardless.
Consider the time involved to open, view, then delete each one as well as
potential inbox limitations some users still have.
