[Milsurplus] O.S.S. radio, China ?

In late August 1945, 5 teams of U.S. O.S.S. volunteers were parachuted
into sites of Japanese POW camps
in China and Korea. The teams of 5 to 6 men included one radio operator,
who reported their findings
back to Hsian, China, and arrangements were made for supply and recovery
of the prisoners. The radio
set was handcrank powered, naturally. I have no information on what
radio set was used for this. It
probably would be something the O.S.S. in China already had. What would
that be, do you think?
SCR-694 ? B2 ? or the locally O.S.S. built radio used by the O.S.S. in
Burma ? I think that latter set
only did 3 MHz band, and i'd think you'd want a higher frequency
capability, especially for the Seoul
Korea assignment. Ideas?
