Well Ray,. other than for shipping you got it cheap. Still a good deal even
if it will require some elbow grease. I bid a minimal amount on it as I have
several other earlier and similar Soviet radios, and, trying to get less and
less boat anchors. Consequently, when I saw I was outbid I was glad, HI.

I just bought a Soviet US (Universal Superheterodyne) PR-4 receiver, built
by the Lenin Radio Works of Gorky. Although this is a post WW2 radio being
built in 1948 it appears to be just about the same design that they started
producing in 1943. Anyone have any idea what the appropriate transmitter
would have been paired with this radio? Somehow don't put this in the same
class as the US-9 or other large receivers and ten to think it's more along
the line of a command set. Looking forward to its arrival and getting the
opportunity to play around with it.
