I have a customer who has one on his Twin Beech. I think it was put there
for show as it is mounted metal top metal. I haven't seen one before either
and I wondered how it worked being all aluminum. In the film it looks like
it was insulated from the fuselage and I presume you just turn the aircraft
to home in on the station. What ADF would it have been used with?

At the clock time shown on the film of 01:35:28 behind the canopy on this
RF-51D you see a loop antenna for the? Don't recall seeing anything like
this one before. Any ideas of it's nomenclature or does anyone have one?
Wonder if they were particular to the RF-51 model as it was a recon type.
