I have no idea whether the DAV/MAB ever saw US military service. I suspect
it was too late for WWII, but it may have served in Korea.

In or around 1965 an outfit on Cortlandt Street (Radio Row) was advertising
n/i/b DAV sets with all accessories in 73 Magazine.

I bought one along with a couple of the little Willard N-T-6 wet cell
batteries and used it a few times.

I do remember that the outfit I bought it from was shipping a bunch of these
to Central or South America, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were used
for anti-insurgent ops there.

I think I still have original the tech manuals (one for the set and the
other for the vibrator supply) squirreled away somewhere. If somebody wants
them, contact me off list.
