Yes. McMaster # 1142A75 works. Cut length is 47-3/4" for an M-404. I
don't have the length for a CW-109/GRC-9. Install with lip out. And it is a
bitch to install. First make two flat steel tools (don't recall the
thickness), one about 1/4" wide for the corners and one an inch wide for the
straight sections, to go around the socket making sure that it is open uniformly.
Then make two wood installer tools, one about 1/2" wide for the corners and
one an inch or two wide for the sides and ends, each with a semi-circular
groove on the business end to fit the thick part of the seal. Use by hand as
a pusher. A 1" putty knife may also aid in getting the tongue into the
groove. Dry fit first to be sure that you can get it in the groove all the way
around. Also dry fit to the radio. Then pull the seal back out and start
the final install with adhesive. The start point should be at the center of
the bottom of the cover. I used a little weather strip adhesive poked into
the groove ever couple of inches and at the corners, using the steel gap
setting tools as pokers. Take care not to get any adhesive on the lip where
it touches the radio. When you have the seal installed, clamp the cover to
the radio and let it sit for a few hours.
